Etch Franklin sits inside The Factory at Franklin, a converted industrial complex that now houses restaurants, retail and event space. The Encore private dining room is the larger of the venue's two private options. It has a long wood farm table, dark upholstered chairs, light walls with a gray wainscot panel, and recessed and track lighting that keeps the space feeling functional without being harsh. Through a glass door at the far end, you can see into the bar area. For a pharma industry client hosting a small corporate meeting, the room already had a professional tone. We were there to add a presentation layer and get out of the way.

What we brought in

The setup was a single 55-inch flat-panel display mounted on a rolling stand, positioned at the head of the table where every seat had a direct sightline. No additional speakers, no confidence monitor, no extra rigging. The stand kept the screen at the right height for a seated audience without obstructing the room or the floral centerpiece already in place on the table.

Place settings were already laid out with dark linen napkins, tall water glasses and silverware when we arrived, and the florals, a pair of large arrangements of deep pink blooms, were centered on the table. We worked around the existing setup without disturbing it.

Planning a meeting like this

If you are booking the Encore room at Etch Franklin for a small corporate group, a single flat-panel on a stand is enough for most presentation needs. The room is not large, and a single screen at the head of the table reaches everyone comfortably. Build in time for the venue's existing decor when you are planning your AV position. The table length and centerpiece placement both factor into where a stand can go without blocking sightlines or feeling intrusive.
