Ruth's Chris Steak House on West End Avenue is a known quantity in Nashville for private dining. The Platinum Room is a contained, well-appointed space with round tables dressed in white linen, upholstered chairs, a neutral gray-and-tan carpet, and warm wall sconces that keep the room feeling like a meal rather than a meeting. For a healthcare industry client hosting a midday lunch meeting, the environment was already professional. Our job was to add a presentation layer that fit without overcomplicating the room.

What we brought in

The setup was straightforward. We brought in a flat-panel display on a rolling stand and positioned it at the front of the room where every table had a clear sightline. A laptop served as the source, running a branded presentation on a blue-background slide deck visible in the photos. Two speakers on stands provided even audio coverage across the round-table configuration, and a wireless lavalier mic gave the presenter freedom to stand and move without fighting the room. A projection screen was already mounted on the wall behind the display and remained raised during the meeting.

We were in at 10:30 AM and had everything dressed and ready before the client's guests arrived for lunch. Pickup was around 2 PM once the meeting wrapped.

Planning notes for this room

The Platinum Room is sized for small groups, and a round-table layout means your display needs to be centered and elevated enough to clear the table settings. A stand-mounted flat-panel solves that cleanly. Two speakers are enough for the room. If your presenter is going to be at the front of the room for an extended period, a lav mic is worth adding even in a space this size. It keeps the delivery relaxed and the audio consistent regardless of where they're standing.
